A chance to drop into the moment, into your body, and the support of Being; to explore this incredible mystery of being alive in human community and in nature. Beginning the day with sitting and moving meditation, breakfast and then some enquiry process led by Fanny, you will then offer your physical work to tending the garden.

There will be logs to shift and split, weeding to be done, bamboo roots to dig up, and some strimming is needed. You can pick the jobs which suit your physical capacity and interest.

This retreat is a hybrid, so you can either treat it as a residential retreat or come for any or all of the days (from 10am to 5pm). For those who book the residential option, you will be charged for accommodation and food and Fanny’s guidance will be an exchange for your work here. For those who come for the day, again it is an exchange, with a £10 charge for lunch and admin who treat it as a retreat, you will be charged for accommodation and food (rates shown below) and Fanny’s guidance will be an exchange for your work here. For those who come for the day there will be a £10 charge to cover lunch and admin.

*The retreat will run from 10am on Thursday to 5pm on Saturday, to give 3 full days. You are welcome to come on the Wednesday evening and stay an extra night, and/or stay an extra night on Saturday and leave Sunday morning. All the options and different costs are given below:

Residential Options:

Wednesday evening to Sunday morning
3 days + 4 nights’ accommodation incl meals, except Wed eve = £240

Wednesday evening to Saturday evening
3 days + 3 nights accommodation incl meals except Wed eve = £210

Thursday morning to Sunday morning
3 days + 3 nights accommodation incl meals = £210

Thursday morning until Saturday evening
2 nights accommodation incl meals = £180

NB Meals are cooked by the group
